Default Whats the best way of killing Rotscale with Miku and Thackery?

I tried it during A Vengeance of Blades.

But, Rotscale is surrounded by his party, wich kills me and Miku if we get in range of Rotscale (and, i was already using a Longbow).

Pulling his mob first one by one ?
Or some other way?

Unless you really want to kill Rotscale , go around him either to the north or south

Pulling and killing the other dragons one by one and make sure to use the sniping skill after Miku's mark.

You don't need to kill rotscale for this, you do know that, right? :P
And, I'd imagine killing him as thackeray with just miku is going to be a BITCH, since he has 30,000 hp and can hit very hard. You'd need over 30 marks to get it done lol...

run in and use Natures Blessing as soon as they start to attack.
run away to a safe distance. this should have pulled the Damned Clerics out. take them out (there are 2)
then kill rotscale's minions 1 by 1. Try to get them to attack Miku since she can die multiple times without you failing the mini-mission where as you can't die at all.
for Rotscale: keep bleeding, deep wound, and poision on him at all times. Try to interrupt Deafening Roar, as it can prevent Miku from placing a mark on him. only use skill 1 when he is marked.

I just did nature's blessing, ran in and sniped a single target (not waiting for Miku) and then ran away. You'll eventually head shot every target leaving just Rotscale. At that point you can fully engage him with Miku who can effectively tank him while you just attack away.

Yeah - it's just a matter of pulling the mobs away. Works best if you can get the clerics first but Miku won't always let you do that. Once the clerics are gone you can generally pick off the other dragons without much problem. After he is alone, Rotscale is pretty easy - just takes a while to get rid of his 30,000 hp even with the headshot. But he really can't kill you on his own as long as you keep using your skills right.

The bow rotscale drops will drop every single time (if the team has only human players, whether it be just one or 8). How ever, it depends on lands the last blow. If you use a summoning stone, and the summon hits rotscale for his last bit of health, the summon will get the bow (which means you don't see it drop)
The same issue arises with Miku. If she lands the last hit, she will get the bow. It is very important to make sure you land the last hit if you want the bow. The best way is to find out about what percent 900 is of his health and watch his bar. If he has above 900 left, it is best to keep lowering his health with normal attacks (and degen) and wait for your next shot at a sniper shot. Miku attacks rather fast and if you sniper shot too soon, she will land the last hit.

the bow does NOT drop every time (my first time I did NOT get the bow!---I did get a black dye from one of the other dragons though, and miku was dead when he died)....I did this with this quest and my first time I got nada, nothing from rotscale--I had to do it a 2nd time to get the bow (yes I am unlucky and probably have the screenshot somewhere to prove my lack of a bow from killing the dumb dragon).

Yes it takes quite a long time to kill him off, but with careful pulling you should be able to kill him (which with just heroes/henchies is not a given conclusion).,

ah, I've never heard of that happening.
All evidence from myself and other players shows it drops everytime (for a random party member) provided the team is only human players and there are no heros, henchmen, or summons (since it reserved for whatever "party" lands the final hit).

Note though, it is possible for the bow to drop from one of his lackeys instead of Rotscale himself. When this happens, Rotscale will not drop the bow, so its possible that Miku stole it from you off one of them.

Nope, It doesnt drop every time or for the last person to damage/Hit him.

Ive done 600(3000HP)/ Smite against Rotscale a few times and the bow doesnt drop every time. As the Smiter is the one dealing most of the damage towards the end, the bow should theoretically always go to him, but as the 600 Tank I sometimes also get the bow even though I do not wand him and Grenths Balance has not been used in a while.

The Green drop assignment is still completely random. Although the drop rate of the Green bow is very high compared to drops from other bosses.

P. S. Im still wondering why Rotscale (Necro) drops a ranger Bow called Rotwing Recurve Bow.
